Harf’s variety of software offerings includes Holy Qur’an software, Noble Hadith software, Jurisprudence (fiqh), cultural software, and children’s software.

Holy Quran Software:


These programs include display of the Qur’anic text in Uthmanic calligraphy, together with recitation by famous performers, commentary based on the most famous relevant references, and interpretation of the Holy Qur’an in seven languages, explanation of recitation rules, uncommon terms, and proper Arabic articulation spots. Also included is advanced text search, topic search, and index search. The software also includes a methodological and scientific method for memorization of the Holy Qur’an that starts with letter vocalization and ends with the highest level of proficiency in reciting the Holy Qur’an based on its proper rules, while utilizing the best and simplest methods of Qur’an memorization together with interpretation in six languages. The system also includes a Desktop-ready copy of the Qur’anic scripture, from which text can be copied and pasted in a Word document while maintaining its original Uthmanic calligraphy, in addition to several other unique services.

Noble Hadith Software:


These programs include the display of approximately 62,000 of the sayings of the Prophet (may the mercy and peace of Allah be upon him) with full diacritic marking. This collection represents the most famous and reliable books recording the noble prophetic tradition, along with a subset of the most famous books of relevant commentary. The software has an audio recitation feature, whereby the full text of these sayings are read out loud in spoken Arabic. Added to all that are advanced text search, topic search, and index search capabilities.

Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and Sharia (Islamic Law) Software:


These come under two categories, namely Encyclopedic and Specialized applications. The Encyclopedic software category includes the comprehensive Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence, which includes a hundred of the most famous books of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) covering all known schools (madhahib) of jurisprudence, with the capability of displaying the fully diacritic-marked text. Also available are Sharia (Islamic Law) services that allow full utilization of jurisprudence text and facilitate its searching through advanced text search, topic search, and various index searches. The Encyclopedic Software category also includes the famous Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah Encyclopedia, and the Encyclopedia of Transaction Jurisprudence. Under the Specialized Software category comes programs for zakat (obligatory alms), prayer jurisprudence, minor and major pilgrimage (hajj and umrah), rights in Islam, medicine and treatment in Islam, economic fatwas, and inheritance.

Biography, History, and Profile Software:
  These include programs related to the biography of the Prophet (may the mercy and peace of Allah be upon him), the history of Islam and of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, the Encyclopedia of Companions, Women Companions, and the Siyar A’lam Al-Nubala’ (biographies of eminent characters) series.

Culture and Miscellaneous Software:
  These include the Islamic Dictionary, which contains 55,000 Islamic terms, and the Islamic Museum, which contains a presentation with voice narration of numerous models of Islamic artwork using virtual reality technologies. Also included is the Dream Interpreter, which interprets dreams simply by entering relevant keywords, as well as the Islamic Civilization Pioneers series, which contains information about the achievements of the most famous Muslim scientists and their most significant inventions and contributions to human civilization.

Children’s Software:
  A collection of programs that were developed with multimedia technologies using two and three dimensional animation and sound and video elements of attraction, along with cartoons that introduce Islamic information to children in an attractive manner. Among this collection is the enjoyable Stories of the Prophets series, and Rashid in the World of Qur’an.
